Winter Nationals 2025

Swim England Winter Nationals brings the very best in the sport to Sheffield. It is the sort of

meet where a 49 in the 100 Freestyle would miss out on a C Final (if they had one)!

At this fast and furious competition we had Elliott, Zoey and Letian ready to throw down

some impressive swims. On Day 1, Zoey managed to swim another 57 second 100 Freestyle, demonstrating incredible consistency in her racing. Elliott broke the Senior Trafford Record in the 200 Backstroke (2:08) and quickly followed this up with an impressive performance

in the 100 IM. Day 2 was the day of 50s, with Zoey on Freestyle and Elliott on Backstroke. They both swam brilliantly, swimming very close to, or just under their PBs. On Day 3, Letian made an appearance in the 1500 Freestyle. She had a really good swim with a strong race plan pulled off. Elliott dipped under his PB in the 100 Backstroke with a 58.27. Day 4 saw Elliott take on the 200 IM. The strategy was decided and an incredible 2:10 followed.
