A NEW CHAPTER IN
TRAFFORDS HISTORY
Sponsored By
Trafford Metro partners with Swimzi Teamwear as its official kit supplier.
If you're not familiar with how the Swimzi store operates, you place your order for the desired items, pay, and then, once the club shop closes for orders, all items ordered will go into production together (to help keep costs as low as possible).
Your items are expected to be delivered a few weeks after the shop closes.
Swimzi has a large catalogue of items, many of which we have not yet added to the Trafford Collection. If you'd like to see a specific item added to the catalogue, don't hesitate to get in touch with our Communications and Brand Officers.
You can explore the Swimzi Trafford Club Shop below using the button below.

The Basic Kit List
Apart from the obvious, a good fitting pair of googles and an appropriate swimming costume, it is expected that all of our swimmers should have the items listed below. As a swimmer advances through the club pathway, it may be suitable to purchase more advanced items such as Snorkels or Hand/Finger Paddles. Your coach will help advise on this as necessary.

A kickboard is a versatile piece of equipment used in swimming for developing leg strength, improving technique, and providing support during training. Kickboards are typically made of buoyant foam or plastic and come in various shapes and sizes to cater to different swimmers' needs.

A pull buoy is a buoyant, figure-eight-shaped foam float used in swim training that swimmers place between their thighs to keep their legs afloat, isolating the upper body so they can focus on arm strokes, build upper body strength, improve core stability, and refine body alignment

Swim fins are typically made of rubber or silicone, which enhances a swimmer's propulsion and efficiency in the water by providing an extra surface area for kicking, thereby improving speed, endurance, and technique. They serve as valuable training tools for beginners to improve body position and for advanced swimmers to build leg strength, practice drills, and reduce strain on the upper body.
