Parking notes
There is limited parking at the Leisure Centre. Two small car parks are located on either side of the building. Parking is free, provided you enter your car registration plate into the devices located in the leisure centre foyer.

The leisure centre is in a small one-way system, so if you miss any of the car parks, just do a loop round and come back.
Alternatively, there is a Q-Park multi-storey car park located opposite the leisure centre underneath the apartment block.​

Public Transport Notes
The Sale tram stop is located 100m from the Leisure Centre, and the line runs directly to Manchester Piccadilly train station.

Withdrawals
Any swimmer wishing to withdraw from the morning session must email Trafford.metro@swimclubmanager.co.uk no later than 6 pm Saturday, 19th May 2026. The Team Manager or Coach must do withdrawals for the afternoon session before 11.30 a.m. on the day of the gala.

Swim Down Facilities
There will be a 25-yard swim-down pool available in the section next to the main pool from 3 pm. A short corridor connects the pools.
Awards
All events are Heat Declared Winners. Heats will be arranged and spearheaded according to entry times.
Awards will be presented to the top six in all individual Age Groups per event.
Awards will be presented to

the top 3 teams in relay events.

The award for top boy/open and top girl will be made to the swimmers with the most cumulative points from individual events, as follows: 1st place 6 points, 2nd place 5 points, 3rd place 4 points, 4th place 3 points, 5th place 2 points and 6th place 1 point.

The top boy/open and girl will be the swimmers with the most points at the end of the meet. In the event of a tie a count back on 1st place, 2nd place, etc. will occur.

If this does not produce a winner, an additional prize will be awarded.

The top visiting team will have accrued the most gala points.
Awards will be presented during the Gala.

Swimmers who are unable to wait for presentations may collect their Awards from the Trophy Steward or make arrangements to collect via the Club at a future Event.
Awards will not be posted out after the event.
​
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 swimmers in each age group in all individual events and the top 3 teams in relay events. The medals awarded will be engraved wooden medals.

Spot prizes will be awarded throughout the gala.
The top visiting team will be awarded a trophy. Points will be awarded as follows:
1st =6pts, 2nd = 5pts, 3rd = 4 pts, 4th =3pts, 5th = 2pts, 6th = 1pt.
There will also be prizes for the top male/open and female swimmers.
Meet Mobile
The programme and results will be posted on the Meet Mobile app. The results will also appear on our WEBSITE.
Changing and Lockers
There are male and female changing rooms, with privacy cubicles within the changing rooms. There are lockers available in the changing rooms that require a £1 coin, which is returnable.
Pop-up shop
Last is Fast will have a pop-up shop on-site selling merchandise.
Event Photography
We will be having professional photographer Emily Inns capturing wonderful moments throughout the day. These can be viewed and will be available for purchase on her WEBSITE following the conclusion of the event.
