VOLUNTEERING AT TRAFFORD

IMG_3723.jpg

The success of our club is hugely dependent on the help and support of our wonderful volunteers — and we are always looking for new people to help out!

Whether you're a swimmer or a parent, able to give time regularly or help out now and then, if you're aged 16+, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Volunteering is a great way to develop yourself and others, to meet people, and to get involved in and give back to our club and our local community.

Some potential volunteer roles include: Judge, Team Manager, Time Keeper, Competition Steward, Poolside Helper, Chaperone, Announcer, Coaching, Squad Representative, Social Events Organiser, Fundraising, Office Helper, IT Support, Website Support, Publicity Officer, Programme/Food/Drinks seller at our home swimming events.

Some roles require online or in-person training, which we are happy to provide and fund for any keen volunteer.

We are always in need of Officials for our galas. These are very important roles because without Officials we cannot run the meet as licenced, which means the times achieved by the swimmers cannot be added to the British Rankings Website.

PLEASE DON’T BE SHY! If you would like to get involved in the club, feel free to get in touch to ask us anything.

If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, you can complete the Volunteer Form below and return it to our Membership Secretary, Mandi Sturmey, (mandi.sturmeytmbsc@gmail.com). She will be in touch with regards to next steps.
