Irish Nationals success for Bella

It was a first ever National competition for Bella H, in NC1. She headed to Limerick looking to make a statement.

She had entered a mammoth seven events, giving her a very busy 4 days.

We started with the 200 Freestyle. Bella showed great closing speed to secure her first final, ultimately finishing in 8th. She then took on the 200 Backstroke, comfortably booking a place in the final. She swam to an excellent 4th place finish in a very fast field.

Bella then had a strong swim in the 50 Freestyle, competing against 13-14

year olds for the final. The 200 IM was where Bella pulled it out of the bag. She crushed her PB, with a fantastic breaststroke leg to win the Silver medal. An incredible achievement, and proud coach moment! Well done Bella!

Bella finished off with great swims in the 100 BK, 50 BK and 100 FC, making the 100 BK final and finishing in 4th.

What a performance and what an experience!
