It was time for our first meet of the season, over in Stretford. The Trafford Early Bird is one of our busiest galas, with over 80 swimmers racing!
This early in the season, the emphasis is on race skills and setting a benchmark performance. Our swimmers responded to that challenge with great enthusiasm - posting PBs, county times and brave efforts.
Despite the tropical conditions, everyone had a great time, bringing great team spirit and support to every race. Lots of our swimmers made the 50m finals, showing our incredible depth!
Special shoutouts to Theo, Eddie and Elijah, who all achieved their first ever county consideration times!
The Numbers: 189 PBs
32 Golds
24 Silvers
33 Bronze
