2026 MASTERS OPEN MEET

Get ready for an exciting day at the Trafford Metro Masters Spring Open Meet on Saturday, 9th May 2025, in Sale, Greater Manchester!
This marks Trafford Metro’s 3rd gala, and it’s set to be even better than the first two!
Join us for thrilling short course racing, featuring 50, 100m, and 200m events in all strokes, along with the 100m, 200m, 400m Medley, and a 400m Freestyle.
Don't miss the Splash ‘n’ dash 25m and fun races yet to be announced, plus exciting relays!
Session 1 warm-up kicks off at approximately 1:30 pm, leading to a spectacular start at 2:15 pm. Session 2 will begin with warm-ups around 5 and start at 5:30 pm.
Enjoy a 25-yard warm-up/swim-down pool available throughout the day.
Conveniently located just 400m from a multitude of shops and restaurants to satisfy every craving. There's even along with a recently refurbished Wetherspoons for those wanting to join the Trafford contingent afterwards!
Expect an unforgettable meet filled with prizes, quality medals, and the now legendary home-baked stall!
The closing date for individual entries is May 2nd, 2026, and for relay entries, it’s May 4, 2026.
