'Bob Actually' - Masters Christmas Message 2025
CLUB COMMUNICATION
Clear and timely communication is a priority at Trafford Metro Swimming Club. We are committed to keeping our athletes, parents/carers, and wider members informed, supported, and engaged throughout each season.
How We Communicate:

We use a range of channels to ensure important information reaches the right people at the right time:
-
Website Updates – Key club news, meet fixtures, results, and club policies.
-
Email Communications – Through the Swim Club Manager system, we use email to keep our members informed about larger announcements, gala/meet information, squad updates, social event notifications, and general club-wide communications.
-
WhatsApp - We have two (separate) WhatsApp communities available to active members of the club: ‘Trafford Metro Squads’ covers the Age-Group section of the club, and ‘Trafford Masters’ covers the adult swimmers. Both of these groups are used to communicate specific information quickly to both athletes and parents/carers. If you are a member and wish to join one of these groups, please reach out to our Communications team at: trafford.metro@swimclubmanager.co.uk
-
Social Media – We have two public-facing Instagram accounts, Trafford Metro and Trafford Masters. Both of these accounts aim to celebrate our club and the achievements of its members through regular images, reels, and stories.
-
Monthly Newsletter - 'As of Yet Unfinished' - Written by Coach Sam Corsan, is a monthly round-up of all the goings on within the club and will be delivered straight to your inbox.
-
Coaches – Day-to-day updates and direct support are available from our coaching team both on poolside and through pre-arranged 121 meetings.
Please ensure your contact details are kept up to date with our membership secretary so you don’t miss important messages.
