Membership and Fees

NB This document is a guide only. If there is any inconsistency between this guide and the terms of the Constitution, the Constitution shall apply.

Fees and Types of Membership are subject to review and change from time to time. For the fees applicable at any time please contact the Membership Secretary or Treasurer.

A. Fees

All club members must pay:

  1. An annual membership fee (unless they are a Life Member);
  2. Swim England membership fees; and
  3. Monthly training fees.

The Membership Secretary will provide a breakdown of the fees payable in your membership offer letter.

TMBSC Membership Fees

These are set annually by the club. They are payable on initially joining TMBSC and annually on membership renewals. Membership renewals currently occur on 30 th November each year and fees paid cover the period 1 st January to 31 st December.

Swim England Fees

Every member of TMBSC must also be a member of Swim England. The fees are set annually by Swim England and cover the period 1 st January to 31 st December. They are payable on initially joining TMBSC, unless they have already been paid via another club, and annually on membership renewals on 30 th November each year.

Training Fees

These are payable monthly by Direct Debit. The training fees payable depend on the squad/group that the club member is training with.

B. Membership

TMBSC Membership

The club provides the following categories of membership:

  1. Full Membership (Junior Squads, Masters and Masters Fitness).
  2. Student Membership. This is open to students aged 18 and over in full-time further or higher education who are in the Masters or Masters Fitness groups.
  3. Senior Membership. This is open to those who have reached their national retirement age in the Masters and Masters Fitness groups.
  4. Masters and Masters Fitness Country Membership. This is open to swimmers aged 18 and over who wish to have membership to allow them to compete in Masters Competitions. This membership does not automatically entitle swimmers to train at the club.
  5. Junior Non-Training Country Membership. This is open to swimmers aged 18 and under who wish to be affiliated with the club but who are members of and train at other club(s). These members are not able to train at the club or compete in the Clubs Championships.
  6. Social Membership. This is open to non-swimming club members.

Swim England Membership

All Junior Squad and Masters’ members are required to have a competitive membership with Swim England as we are a competitive club. Masters Fitness members can have either competitive or non-competitive membership with Swim England.

Club Office

Our Club Office at Sale Leisure Centre is open on Sundays between 3.45-5.45pm for enquiries and to purchase swim hats and second hand items.
