UK Residential Swim Camp 2023

Monday 14th to Friday 18th August 2023
Cost
£320 per swimmer, which includes travel to and from Rossall, all coaching, activities, meals, accommodation, t-shirt and swimming hat.
Who Can Go?
There is no age restriction for this camp and places are available to ALL of our swimmers regardless of what squad they are in. Swimmers do need to be confident about staying away from home.
Transport
Swimmers travel by coach to Rossall. The coach leaves Sale on Monday 14th August 2023 at 9.45am and returns on Friday 18th August 2023 at 3.30pm.
Accommodation
Is in houses in dorm style rooms. We endeavour to have houses with group rooms, however sometimes the room can be singles. Younger swimmers usually stay in rooms of 3 or more, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Food
All meals are provided and there is plenty of choice. Those with special dietary requirements are catered for.
Activities
Physically the camp is quite demanding.
Swimmers swim in a 25m pool once on Monday and Friday and twice on all other days - before breakfast and before tea.
Besides swimming there are other physical activities including land training and games during the day which are mostly outside, but inside in indoor sports facilities if the weather is too wet.
There is a beach within walking distance of the school and swimmers have the opportunity, subject to weather conditions, to have at least one swim in the sea.
During the evening swimmers are able to watch films, take part in a quiz and if the weather is good play games on the fields outside the accommodation.
