Below are details of the Junior Squads Training Season for 2023-2024, including term start and finish dates and bank holidays when there will be no training.
Autumn 2023
Training Starts - Sunday 3 rd September 2023
Training Finishes - Friday 22 nd December 2023
Christmas Holidays - Saturday 23 rd December to Friday 26 th December 2023 NO TRAINING
Wednesday 27th December 2023 – Tuesday 2 nd January 2024 Skeleton Training Program ONLY for those competing in the 2024 Cheshire County Championships. Full details to be provided nearer the time.
Spring 2024
Training Starts - Wednesday 3 rd January 2024
Training Finishes - Thursday 28 th March 2024
Easter Holidays - Friday 29 th March to Monday 1 st April 2024 NO TRAINING
During the Easter Holidays we hope to have an Overseas Swim Camp for National Squad swimmers. Details will be provided as soon as this has been organised on the Swim Camps Page (see left hand menu).
Summer 2024
Training Starts - Tuesday 2 nd April 2024
Training Finishes - Wednesday 31 st July 2024
Summer Holidays - Thursday 1 st August to Tuesday 20 th August 2024 NO TRAINING
Wednesday 21 st August – Sunday 31 st August 2024 Skeleton Training Program for ALL Junior Squads. Full details to be provided nearer the time.
Bank Holidays 6 th & 27 th May and 26 th August 2024 NO TRAINING
In Mid August there will be a Swim Camp at Rossall School in Fleetwood. This is open to swimmers in ALL squads although there are a limited number of spaces. Details will be provided as soon as this has been organised on the Swim Camps Page (see left hand menu).
