The City of Salford Potential Olympians Gala was held over the weekend of 28/29th October 2023 at Broughton Leisure Centre.
Popular due to its extensive range of events, this meet was very well attended by Trafford Metro swimmers in all four of the sessions, with many swimmers on the hunt for those County times before the end of 2023.
The pool did not disappoint and there were lots of PB's, County times and of course medals.
In the final session, unfortunately the pool suffered issues with chlorine levels. At one point, it was thought that the meet would have to be abandoned, however the meet was able to continue after a break and all events were completed.
