Trafford Metropolitan Swimming Club (TMBSC) has circa 200 swimmers ranging from NPTS level 6 through to Regional champions and a successful Masters section.

We compete in the top Divisions of the District and County competitions and regularly feed Swimmers into the Swim Trafford Performance Squad. We are Swim 21 accredited

and are proud of our reputation as an inclusive Club which caters for swimmers with a range of abilities.

We require someone who can build on the significant success we achieve and take the club forward both on and off poolside. In order to achieve this you must be committed to TMBSC

and able to work with and build effective relationships with our Coaches/Teachers, swimmers and volunteers. You will also require good organisational and administrative skills to maintain

swimmer records, assessments and other ‘off pool’ duties.

You will hold either an ASA Club Coach Certificate, or a UKCC Level 2 qualification. Ideally working towards or have a desire to pass your UKCC Level 3. You must also either possess

or be prepared to study for a National Pool Lifeguarding Qualification (NPLQ). Knowledge and experience of land training would be an advantage. You will need to be self-motivated,

have an ability to work on your own initiative but also work under direction from the TMBSC committee and in conjunction with the Swim Trafford Head coach

Attendance at galas and meets is fundamental as is the mentoring and development of the existing TMBSC coaches.

An enhanced CRB check will be required and although not essential it would be an advantage to have knowledge of Swim 21.
